“The main themes for in-depth discussion and reflection of the three-day Verona event are the elements that outline what Institutions, Government, and protagonists must work on: Change, both in terms of production and distribution model;the challenge towards sustainability; the acceleration of electric products; assets for contemporary urban mobility;innovation as a driver to bring different solutions to the market; communication and opportunities of digital tools; the management ofof used and after-sales; the essential role of human capital and relationships for growth; artificial intelligence in support of the evolutionary development of the industry,’ declares Alessandro Dal Bon, Vice President Dealer & Industry Solutions at Quintegia..
SUSTAINABILITY
The work program, as usual, will be inaugurated at 17:00 on Tuesday, May 16, with the “Cambiamenti” session, featuring Carlo Carraro, Vice President and member of the Bureau of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the United Nations organization dealing with climate change. It will be an opportunity to highlight the close connection between climate change and sustainable mobility and to understand the weight of an evolutionary path that puts the environment at the center. On this topic, Quintegia will also present the first ESG mapping of dealers operating in Italy during the event.
MOBILITY
During #ADD23, the mobility ecosystem will be analyzed, highlighting the complementarity and criticalities between personal mobility flows, micro-mobility, and public transport to provide automotive industry operators with a broader vision of how the trend of servitization and ‘systemic’ work leads to broadening views and business models. One of the voices deepening these areas will be Lidia Signor, Head of Combined Mobility at UITP – International Union of Public Transport.
ELECTRIFICATION
Automotive Dealer Day will be an opportunity to take stock of mobility electrification, with contributions from industry experts like Silvia Bodoardo of the Polytechnic University of Turin, and also through the BEV – Italy Progress Index, Quintegia’s quarterly analysis of Italian electrification levels.
RETAIL
The analysis of distribution networks and new retail dynamics, including a focus on the impacts of the agency contract application, will be central themes analyzed across multiple sessions with data processed by Quintegia through its studies. Like the twentieth edition of DealerSTAT, the study that collects the satisfaction of Italian dealership owners in their relationship with manufacturers and the new release of Dealer Network Study, periodic analysis of the structure and size of sales and service networks for cars and commercial vehicles. Focus also on the study of consumer attitudes and behaviors thanks to the 2023 edition of Automotive Customer Study and a new study on customer data management, again by Quintegia’s Center for Studies and Research.
INNOVATION
The importance of continuous innovation of models and business logic will be emphasized by integrating themes such as artificial intelligence, with an ethical analysis approach, and the use of digital channels and new technologies, bringing value to innovative ideas and emerging realities.. In this sense, contamination with sectors external to automotive is essential, and we will talk about it with Alessandro Pacetti, Global Direct-To-Consumer Director of Vibram Group.
